Who Are the Ascended Masters?
The ascended masters are our elder brothers and sisters on the spiritual path. They have graduated from earth’s schoolroom and returned to God. From the heaven realm, they guide and teach mankind.
Many of these masters are familiar to us, having walked among us through the ages—others may be unknown to our outer mind. Since the dawn of time, these masterful beings have emerged from all races and nationalities, from all walks of life and all religions. Some of them are ancient beings of light, and their names have long ago become secondary to the flames they bear.
The ascended masters help us become aware of the spiritual paths back to our Divine Source. Paths that we can walk over to master the seven rays of our Christ consciousness that emerge from the white light. These seven paths each attract their own students – scientists, artists, statesmen, healers, teachers – everyone is magnetized to their path and their ascended master teacher. These paths are the subdivisions of the wholeness of Christ. Regardless of their individual attributes, all of the flames have a white-fire core of purity, which embodies all of the attributes of God and which may be invoked by those who desire to expand the Christ consciousness.
There are seven rays of God’s consciousness and there is a Chohan for the each ray.
The seven rays present seven paths to individual or personal Christhood. Seven ascended masters, called the “chohans” or lords of the rays, are the master teachers for that Christic attribute due to their lifetimes of mastering the elements of that ray.

El Morya
The Ascended Master El Morya is the chohan of the first ray of the will of God. He represents the godly attributes of courage, certainty, power, forthrightness, self-reliance, dependability, faith and initiative.

Ascended Master Paul the Venetian is the chohan of the third ray of divine love, the pink flame and serves as the hierarch of the spiritual retreat at the Château de Liberté in southern France,
Ascended Master Serapis Bey, chohan of the fourth ray – the white ray of p is the chohan of the fifth ray, the green ray of healing, precipitation and truthurity, maintains the focus of the Ascension Temple at Luxor in Egypt.
Ascended Master Hilarion is the chohan of the fifth ray, the green ray of healing, precipitation and truth, maintains the Temple of Truth on the etheric plane near Crete.
Ascended Lady Master Nada is the chohan of the sixth ray of ministration, service and peace. Her etheric retreat is in the Arabian Desert, where she works with Jesus the Christ and angels of Archangel Uriel’s band.
Ascended Master Saint Germain is the chohan of the seventh ray – the ray of the violet flame. His retreat is over the House of Rakoczy in Transylvania and in the Cave of Symbols in the United States. He also holds classes at the Royal Teton Retreat and has a retreat near Table Mountain, Wyoming.
The Temple of Comfort is the retreat of the Maha Chohan in the etheric realm over the island of Sri Lanka.
